Anchorage, Alaska – Bristol Bay Industrial (BBI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation overseeing its industrial services business line, finalized the purchase of Alaska Directional, LLC today. The acquisition is effective immediately.
Alaska Directional was established in 2013 in Wasilla, Alaska, by Billy and Melissa Long. A market leader in the utility and telecommunications industries, Alaska Directional provides directional drilling, underground utility installation, trenching, plowing, and cathodic protection services to the telecommunication and utilities sector.
“I’m excited by the many opportunities the acquisition of Alaska Directional will bring to BBI as we continue to pursue our mission centered on safety, innovation, and excellence,” BBI president and CEO Mark Nelson said. “Alaska Directional will be a great addition to BBI’s team as we continue to grow and diversify our lines of service, industries and clients, and work to increase BBNC shareholder hire.”
Billy and Melissa Long will continue to oversee company operations with the help of BBI. The Alaska Directional team will be based in Palmer, Alaska and will provide services throughout the state.
